There is still much confusion over what actually happened, as the exhibition in question happened in Nicaragua, Central America and it seems news is taking a while to come out. The general consensus (According to the press release from the gallery owner and an investigation by Humane Society International) now seems to be that the death was a hoax and that the dog 'Natividad' was fed, watered and looked after apart from for the three hours of the exhibition when he was tied up on a leash. The "artist" left the dog in the hunger condition with no water and food.. What the hell... Cruel human being..
